Welcome to Main Street Intermediate!

The library is a fabulous place to be, and I'm looking forward to seeing all of you! I'm excited to help you find a good fit book and explore new genres and authors. Reading is such an adventure; you just have to find the right book!

I spent 10 years in the classroom teaching reading and writing before I moved into my new position as the Reading/Media Specialist. My passion is teaching reading, and it's a privilege for me to have the opportunity to teach every 4th and 5th grade student that comes to MSI.

I work closely with the E.L.A. (English/Language Arts) teachers in both grade levels to support reading instruction taking place in the classroom. My classroom is the library, and we do so much more than just "check out books." The library is truly an extension of the classroom.

We're a Reading Community at MSI! Get ready to have some fun!
