Mr. Avalos' 4th Grade Bilingual Class

Welcome to a new school year! Please sit back and read on to discover some important information:

About Me:
My name is Ivann Avalos, and I was born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. I attained my B.A. in English Language Teaching as a Foreign Language from the University of Guadalajara on 2014. I then obtained my teaching certificate in Texas through Region 13. I enjoy reading, and thus one of my ultimate goals for this school year is to share will all my students my love of reading.

Work Ethics:
As a teacher, I strongly believe that cooperation between parents, students and teacher is of utmost importance in order to be able to walk together down the road to success! I take strong pride in my work, and I expect my students to take strong pride in their learning. I believe we are creating leaders for the future, but there needs to be cooperation to make this an effective goal

I'm very, very excited to have the opportunity to work with you, let's make sure that we are the best learning team we can possibly be! Hard work does not mean no fun, it just means that we put first things first so that we can then enjoy our fun time to the fullest!

These are the two mottos that I incorporate into my work ethics:

"Think and Work"
-University of Guadalajara Motto

"Relentless in the pursuit of Educational Excellence"
-TISD Motto
